• Care.com Paid subscription ($30-$120, depending on time-frame) required to access database of babysitters, nannies and more. Members are granted access to references and background checks.
• Care4Hire.com Pay a monthly fee of $5.75 and access an extensive database of babysitters. Sample interview questions and reference requests are included with membership. Members may also post profiles for caregivers to view.
• Fun Club (South Miami) This super-friendly, licensed children’s center doubles as a preschool, babysitting center, after school program and class hotspot. The babysitting program serves kids 18 months to 12 years and functions on a drop-in basis. No reservations required, fill out a couple forms and you’re good to go.
• SitterCentralMiami. Billed as a "definitive placement agency" for babysitters, nannies and houseekeeper, SitterCentral individually screens, background checks and reference screens each of its sitters. • The Babysitting Company Started by a former babysitter, The Babysitting Company pairs sitters & parents from the Keys to Palm Beach. All sitters are personally interviewed, background checked, drug tested & CPR certified. Options include full & part-time, long & short term, after school, group, corporate and traveling babysitters. • The Learning Center (Downtown Miami) Daycare meets evening & weekend hours at this 24/7 childcare center on 8th Street. Owner Melissa Mazzotta runs three facilities (2 in Miami, 1 in Fort Lauderdale) and all offer education, snacks, meals, reading and a fully bilingual staff. The space is “super clean & cheery” and stocked with toys and little cots for overnight adventures.
