Description

Calling all 2-10 year old children – Chagall is back! The nationally acclaimed children’s exhibition that opened our children’s museum in 2003 is back for our 10-year celebration, to entertain and educate a whole new crop of youngsters and their families! Join us on opening day as the colorful and dream-like world of Marc Chagall comes to life in this vibrant and interactive exhibit, with 14 exploration stations where boys and girls use all of their senses to learn about the artist and his colorful compositions. This fun-filled exhibit features music, computers and art and allows children to create with the childlike freedom of one of the world’s greatest artists.

Children create and color their own digital portraits, make crayon rubbings from a steel engraving, explore the effect of light on stained glass, rearrange a window as they would a puzzle, and so much more! The exhibit runs through May 5, 2013 and is open most Sundays from noon – 4pm.

The Groovy David concert will be at 3pm:
David Brownstein is an award-winning children’s performer who has released two CD's of music for kids entitled Everybody, and his newest EP Kiddie Lounge. He is coming back to his hometown of Miami to perform his live music and puppet show extravaganza. Put on your dancing shoes because with Groovy David it’s “Party Time...All the Time.”
