To celebrate its recent exhibition, the Lowe Art Museum presents another form of storytelling: the art of shadow puppetry. Pablo Cano and Jim Hammond present “DOG, A Shadow Puppet Play.”

It's a story about a dog that pursues a “red squeaky ball” through ten famous paintings and sculptures in art history. The ball is used as a metaphor for each of our simplest pursuits of happiness. Pablo creates each shadow puppet from plastic “Beware of the Dog” signs.

The performance, which starts at 1:30 p.m., is recommended for ages 6 and older. Admission is $10 for Lowe members, and $15 for non-members.
