Kids of all ages will love engaging with hands-on activities, hearing stories, meeting authors &amp; shopping for books.<\/p>\n<p>Read on for our insider&#8217;s guide to when to go, what not to miss &amp; what to pack&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When to go<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Save on admission Friday<\/strong>. The Street Fair runs Friday-Sunday, but admission is free on Friday only ($10 adults Sat &amp; Sun). Warning, many of the kids activities are only offered Saturday &amp; Sunday<\/li>\n<li><strong>Go early<\/strong>. The Fair runs Fri-Sun from 10am-6pm. Go early for smaller crowds &amp; better weather<\/li>\n<li><strong>Park smart<\/strong>. Parking is easier than you think &#8211; there are lots &amp; nearby. Alternately, consider taking the Metrorail (exit College North or College Bayside Stations)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What to bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$$$: Admission is free on Friday. Saturday &amp; Sunday: $10 general admission, $5 kids 13-18, free kids 12 and under. Bring extra cash or credit cards for books &amp; snacks, <a href=\"https:\/\/ev1.evenue.net\/cgi-bin\/ncommerce3\/SEGetEventList?groupCode=SF-1&amp;linkID=img-imgt&amp;shopperContext=&amp;caller=&amp;appCode\">Click here to buy your street fair tickets in advance and skip entrance lines<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sunblock, water &amp; snacks. There will be plenty of food &amp; drink for purchase, but having your own will save money and time.<\/li>\n<li>Stroller &amp; sneakers. There&#8217;s a bit of walking involved.
