Reading with our littlest munchkins is the first step in building a lifelong love of literacy. Make it extra engaging by using different voices for different character and emphasizing rhythms and rhymes in stories<\/span>…<\/p>\n<\/div> Make reading a habit and a hobby with your toddlers. Establish routines (bedtime reading, breakfast reading, etc) and use funny voices and intonations to keep stories engaging…<\/p>\n<\/div> Elementary school is a wonderful time to nurture a lifelong love of reading. Encourage munchkins to choose their own books, continue reading to them (in addition to them reading on their own), discuss storylines & characters, experiment with different authors and genres…<\/p>\n<\/div> Tweens can be tricky in all areas – and reading is no different.
