Flavor Palm Beach: Sept 1-30, Palm Beach

More than 50 eateries from throughout Palm Beach County, from Boca Raton to Tequesta will offer prix fixe three-course menus for lunch and dinner.

Miami Spice: Sept 1-30, Miami

Three-course menus will be offered for lunches, brunches and dinners. Lunches and brunches will be $28 and new this year will be an option of $45 or $60 for dinner.

Key West Brew Fest: Sept 1-5, Key West

Key West BrewFest has grown to be the largest event put on by Key West Sunrise Rotary. The multi-day festival hosted by Southernmost Beach Resort includes beer pairing dinners, pool parties along with other activities around town culminating with the signature tasting event. Each day offers things to do with events taking place at many restaurants, hotels, and bars all over Key West.

Sing Out Loud Music Festival: Weekends, St. Augustine

The festival, now in its fifth year, takes place at various venues around St. Augustine between during the month of September with more than a dozen concerts and events.

Oktoberfest Wynwood, Sept 9-11, Miami

Beer aficionados will experience great seasonal brews, live music, beer games, an artisan market and yummy food. Don’t miss the dog-friendly activities.

Upper Key Lionfish Derby & Festival: Sept 8-11, Islamorada

Divers can help fish and other ocean critters by killing as many of this extremely invasive non-native species as they can. Cash prizes will be awarded or the most, largest and smallest. Other events: free lionfish tastings, lionfish games and crafts for the youngsters, raffles and fillet and dissection demonstrations.

Amelia Island Dance Festival: Sept 9-11, Amelia Island

The festival’s four live performances will feature top national and regional talent in a variety of styles including classical (The Florida Ballet), contemporary (NYC’s East by North Dance Theatre), acroyoga (Jacksonville duo JBacroduo), tap (Broadway performer John Manzari) and ballroom (ValNeda Latin Ballroom). Many of the performers will also lead dance workshops for a minimal registration fee.

Tallahassee Caribbean Festival: Sept 9-11, Tallahassee

This family-friendly fest brings the flavors, sounds and swagger of the Caribbean islands to landlocked Tally. The carnival includes three days of live music, sumptuous fashion, vibrant colors, live entertainment, food vendors and a kids zone. The event highlight is Saturday’s Caribbean Parade.

I Like it Hot Festival: Sept 10-11, Largo

This kid- and pet-friendly pepper-palooza has something for everyone, including amateur hot sauce and salsa competitions, hoola hoop contests, a spicy sucker lick-a-thon, beer and other beverage tents, live music, spice vendors and food trucks serving BBQ and other less fiery flavors.

Island Hopper Songwriter Fest: Sept 16-25, Sanibel/Captiva

Behind every great country music hit, there is usually another outstanding singer/songwriter who wrote the tune.  Get to know the back stories behind country’s biggest hits and see them performed by the writers.

Latin Fest: Sept 16, Oakland Park
