Splash Pads
Numerous public and neighborhood parks throughout South Florida feature splash pads, making them a delightful attraction for toddlers and young children. To find out more about these splash pads, visit your town’s website or contact the parks and recreation department. In many cases, splash pads are available for free use, particularly if they’re not part of a larger water park facility.

Paradise Cove. CB Smith Park Paradise Cove water park offers includes tall twisting water slides, a plunge pool, a lazy river tube ride, and water playgrounds. The park is in Pembroke Pines at C. B. Smith Park, 954-357-5170, 900 N. Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines 33028
Swimming Pools
SWIM Central is the coordinating agency for water-safety instruction and awareness in Broward County. It maintains the most comprehensive database in Florida for swimming pools and water-safety programs in the county. SWIM Central’s curriculum-based programs provide 10 free 30-minute water-safety classes over a two-week period, taught by certified water-safety instructors during the school day who have been carefully selected and trained through SWIM Central.
