2022 Summer Fun Guide

HELLO SUMMER!!! We couldn’t be more excited for 10 weeks of arts, athletics, academics & adventure. Make the most of your time off with our 2022 Summer Camp Guide, presented by Jacksonville Children’s Chorus.

Jacksonville Children’s Chorus. Do you know a child who loves to sing? The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus is now auditioning talented singers in grades 2nd – 12th for the 2022-2023 season (prior experience is not required). To learn more and sign up, click here or call 904-353-1636 ext 3.

Children’s Art Classes. Register now for summer workshops at Children’s Art Classes! Offerings include drawing, painting, stain glass, plaster mask making, clay sculpture, watercolor, design, still life and more! We offer four different workshops each week, all age appropriate. Visit our website to to view the entire schedule of days and times. Class size is limited, so register early!

Chappell School. As an eco-friendly school, Chappell focuses on the beauty of the natural sciences. June Theme: Camping. We will visit Tree Hill Nature Center, The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Diamond D Ranch, Celestial Farms, and enjoy a Jumbo Shrimp baseball game! July Theme: Dinosaurs. Children explore the Catty Shack Ranch, the Jacksonville Zoo, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, and the MOSH. August Theme: Solar System: Trips include visiting a local, growing planetarium. Doing Dishes. Doing Dishes summer camps are Tuesday-Thursday 9am-12pm. Your little artist will create 5-6 projects during their camp week. Each week has a designated theme for maximum fun!  Our popular Summer Art Camp is open to boys and girls entering first grade and up. Each class is limited to only 12 campers, so please register early to ensure your child’s spot.

Educational Development Services. EDS focuses on reading interventions for struggling readers and those with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. EDS helps students improve their reading, spelling, writing and comprehension for a lifetime.  Summer is a great time to do concentrated work to improve reading. Click here, call 904-303-7331 or email for info.

Red, White & Blues Farm. Are you ready to take home some of your favorite Springhigh & SweetCrisp Blueberry Plants? Stop by for our Blueberry U-Dig event at Red, White & Blues Farm! Quantities are limited and blueberry plants are first come, first serve. We will notify everyone via social media if we no longer have blueberry plants available, please check our Facebook or Instagram page before making your trip out to the farm.
