- Keep them engaged. Take turns saying something you’re grateful for & give your little one extra time
- When in doubt, color. A pack of crayons & these holiday placemats will buy you at least 20 minutes
- Make it a game. Put a prize or two on the kitchen counter (chocolate turkey, pack of stickers, etc). Any munchkin who sits politely through the meal gets some extra love.
- Get them involved. Busy fingers are happy fingers -let little ones toss the salad, bring flatware to the table, clear the table & pass the bread basket around.
