The Miami Book Fair is one of Miami’s best munchkin activities. Kids of all ages will love engaging with hands-on activities, hearing stories, meeting authors & shopping for books.

When to go:

  • Save on admission Friday. The Street Fair runs Friday-Sunday, but admission is free on Friday only ($10 adults Sat & Sun). Warning, many of the kids activities are only offered Saturday & Sunday
  • Go early. The Fair runs Fri-Sun from 10am-6pm. Go early for smaller crowds & better weather
  • Park smart. Parking is easier than you think – there are lots & nearby. Alternately, consider taking the Metrorail (exit College North or College Bayside Stations)

What to bring

  • $$$: Admission is free on Friday. Saturday & Sunday: $10 general admission, $5 kids 13-18, free kids 12 and under. Bring extra cash or credit cards for books & snacks, Click here to buy your street fair tickets in advance and skip entrance lines
  • Sunblock, water & snacks. There will be plenty of food & drink for purchase, but having your own will save money and time.
  • Stroller & sneakers. There’s a bit of walking involved. Maneuvering a stroller through the booths is less than ideal, but it’s better than carrying your little one.
