It’s freebie season for preschoolers in Tampa Bay! With a little planning and the right paperwork, you can save big in 2026. Here’s all the info you need about 2026 preschool passes – deadlines, fine print, and how to claim yours before they disappear.

Preschool Pass Basics

  • Who qualifies: Florida residents ages 5 and under with valid ID
  • Deadlines: Most passes require online registration and in-person activation by late February
  • Bring ID: You’ll need a birth certificate or passport for your child + proof of Florida residency for yourself
  • Age caveat: If your child is 5 at activation, the pass is good for the rest of 2026—even if they turn 6 during the year
  • Extra fees: Parking, parents & older siblings are not included

Busch Gardens & Adventure Island Preschool Card

Free admission for kids 5 and under to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island all year long. This is the most popular pass for Tampa Bay locals.

  • Who qualifies: Florida residents ages 5 and under
  • How to get it: You must register online first. It is not available at the park gates.
  • Note: You must visit the park with your child and a certified copy of his/her birth certificate (or passport) by February 28, 2026, to activate the card.

SeaWorld & Aquatica Preschool Card

  • Who qualifies: Florida residents ages 5 and under
  • Deadlines: You must register online by February 3, 2026, and make your first visit to activate the card by March 1, 2026
  • Note: Like Busch Gardens, you need to bring proof of your child’s age and your own Florida residency for the first visit

Kennedy Space Center “Junior Space Explorer” Pass

  • Who qualifies: Florida residents ages 5 and under
  • Deadline: You must register online by February 27, 2026
  • Note: Unlike the theme parks, you have until the end of the year (Dec 31, 2026) to bring your voucher to “Will Call” to exchange it for the physical pass

Heads up: These passes are only offered once a year, and if you miss the registration window, you’re out of luck until 2027.
