Swimming Pools

  • Bobby Hicks Pool (4201 W Mango Ave). Open year round, Bobby Hicks is Tampa’s only Olympic size pool. This facility has ten 50-meter lap lanes or 20 25-yard lap lanes. It also has one 1-meter and one 3-meter maxi-flex model B spring boards, a wading pool for small children, concrete bleachers, and an ADA lift.
  • Copeland Pool (11001 N 15 St, Tampa Bay). Open Memorial Weekend – Early November. Copeland Pool is a Family/Leisure pool with ten 25-yard lap lanes, zero depth entry, 14 foot deep dive well with two 1-meter and one 3-meter maxi-flex model B spring boards, water feature with 2 slides, and concrete bleachers with capacity for 2,000. This facility hosts our Annual Doggie Paddle on the last day the pool is open. It is located within Copeland Park which has a community center, trails, multi-purpose courts, softball field, and picnic areas.
  • Cyrus Greene Pool (2101 E Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd). Open Year-Round. Located in East Tampa, this facility is Family/Leisure pool with six 25-yard lap lanes, a tube slide, a splash pad, ADA lift and ramp. The pool is attached to our Cyrus Greene Community Center.
  • Danny Del Rio Pool (10105 N Boulevard). Open Year-Round. Danny Del Rio Pool is a Family/Leisure pool with six 25-yard lap lanes, one 1-meter maxi-flex model B spring board, wading pool for small children, slide for small children, and an ADA lift. It is located just north of Chamberlain High School.
  • Interbay Pool (4321 Estrella Ave). Open Year-Round. This Family/Leisure pool has seven 25-yard lap lanes, one 1-meter maxi-flex model B spring board, a shade structure, and ADA lift.
  • Loretta Ingraham Pool (1611 N Hubert Ave) Open Year-Round. ocated in the Carver City/Lincoln Gardens Neighborhood, this Family/Leisure pool has four 25-yard lap lanes, zero depth entry, a water feature, a slide for small children, and a tube slide. It is attached to our Loretta Ingraham Center which has a gym, weight room, computer lab, and playground.
  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Pool (2200 N Oregon Ave). Open Memorial Weekend – Labor Day. Another Family/Leisure Pool, this facility has four 5-yard lap lanes, zero depth entry, a small and large tube slides, and a water feature. Our Dr. MLK Complex also includes a community center, a gym, and a playground.
  • Roy Jenkins Pool (154 Columbia Dr). Open Memorial Weekend – Labor Day. Roy Jenkins Pool is located on Davis Islands near downtown Tampa. This recently re-opened Family/Leisure pool has five lap lanes, starting blocks, swim up benches, zero entry children’s activity pool with a variety of water features, and ADA lifts.
  • Spicola Family Pool (2615 E Corrine St). Open Memorial Weekend – Labor Day. Overlooking McKay Bay this facility is located adjacent to our DeSoto Center. This Family/Leisure pool has four 25-yard lap lanes, zero depth entry, two slides, water feature, and shaded viewing area. In addition to the pool and the center, this location has a skate park, multi-purpose courts, and picnic areas.
  • Sulphur Springs Pool (701 E Bird St). Open Year-Round. This Family/Leisure Pool features four 25-yard lap lanes, zero depth entry, splash pad, and multiple water slides. Our historic Sulphur Springs and beautiful park are adjacent to the pool. The park features shelters, picnic tables, and a scenic view of the Hillsborough River. In the right conditions you might be able to see some manatees!
  • Williams Park Pool (4362 Osborne Ave). Open Memorial Weekend – Labor Day. Williams Park Pool is a Family/Leisure pool with zero depth entry, maximum depth of 4 feet, water features, and an ADA lift.
  • New Tampa YMCA (16221 Compton Dr). Open Year-Round. We have partnered with the New Tampa YMCA where all active Rec Card holders can swim at the Y during their public swim times. This is only for the New Tampa YMCA. Please contact them for more information.
