Annual Beach Clean-up Celebrates Earth Day @ Dania Beach

Pollution continues to be a growing problem threatening our oceans, marine life, and even our own health. As a gateway to the sea, the City of Dania Beach cares about the marine environment and continues to be proactive in keeping its waterways, beach and pier clean.

This Earth Day, the City of Dania Beach will host a coastal clean-up on Monday with community volunteers from local schools, non-profits, neighborhoods, and businesses.

“This is the fourth year we have hosted this event, and it will be the biggest one yet,” said Dania Beach Commissioner Joyce L. Davis. “As a champion for our environment, I believe that keeping Dania Beach pristine is not just a duty, but a pledge to our planet. Safeguarding our coastline and protecting our marine life is imperative to ensure a brighter, cleaner future for generations to come.”
