April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and in celebration of National Library Week in April, Broward County Library presents the Pinwheel Festival & Resource Fair. The Pinwheel Festival protects children from abuse and neglect by showcasing helpful community organizations, including the library and its many resources for families.
The festival features book giveaways, rock painting, face painting, children’s shows, a fire truck demonstration, and the “planting” of pinwheels in front of the library. All activities on this day of entertainment, celebration and information are free and open to the public.
