We invite community members with autism and other sensory sensitivities to join the Independence Day festivities from Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park.
Guests will enjoy:
- Free on-site parking
- A premier view of the fireworks display
- Indoor quiet area
- Sensory friendly outdoor games including bubbles, crafts, sports and a marshmallow roast
- Guests are welcome to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The following are not allowed at Sensory Friendly 4th of July
- Weapons
- Personal Fireworks, including sparklers
- Pets
- Alcohol
