Celebrate Recycling in Action @ SWA Recycling Facility Open House

Celebrate Palm Beach County being the state’s top recycler two years in a row by participating in the national Recycling in Action initiative with The Association of Plastic Recyclers.

Tour the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County’s (SWA) Recovered Materials Processing Facility (RMPF) on May 17, 20 and 22 to see first-hand how your blue and yellow bin recyclables are sorted and processed so they can become valuable new materials.

Participants will tour the SWA’s dual-stream facility to see how it receives, sorts, processes and prepares the blue and yellow recycling bin materials for market. Each tour will take approximately 45 minutes and will include an opportunity for questions.

Tours at 1pm and 2:30pm.
